Navah's poem - The Ocean

The ocean is a wonderful place to go With shells and creatures and critters Sharks, crabs and there's nothing to fear They're just making their homes right there So don't swim away, they're actually more scared than we are.

Dracula in Room 3...

We had a small visit from Dracula in Room 3...we also dedicated our Friday poem to his presence in the class...

Ramona Quimby in Room 3.

We have nearly finished our second story about Ramona Quimby and her sister Beezus. We enjoy to hear about her life challenges and about the 'creative' things that she does. We have created some observational drawings of Ramona. Natalie's sketch is at the top of our page. Here is a peek of some others before they had their background...

Modules Week 2, July - Sculpture

The Room 3 children have been working with Miss Clark in Room 2 creating sculptures. Take a peek...

Here is what the children have to say...

Ashton said "In the kiwis I liked getting the tools and working with the clay."

"I like about the modules because I liked putting the things together," said Navah.

"I liked when we had to do Xs on the body and the beak and the eyes so the bits would stick on when we rubbed water on the back," commented Tayla.

"I didn't like when we had to design the body because it was really hard," noted Haylee.

Campbell said "I enjoyed cutting out the paper."

"I enjoyed poking the toothpick in the eye," said Jessica.
