Dracula in Room 3...

We had a small visit from Dracula in Room 3...we also dedicated our Friday poem to his presence in the class...

Room 3 modules in Room 4


I made a crocodile magnet with no teeth. It is on my fridge. - Angus


We are moving the iron balls with the magnet. - Seth


The circle magnets made circles with the iron balls. - Sam Cornford


The magnet that we made was fun to make because it was tricky - a challenge. - Neah


I made a giraffe because it was my favourite animal that was there. It's a great magnet for my fridge. - Natalie


The crocodile is made out of foam and we got to stick a magnet on the back. - Sarah


I am putting a magnet under the paper and moving a magnetic counter around a maze. - Toby


We are having a boat race. We made boats and we put paper clips on them and used magnets under the paper. - Nate

We had a boat race with magnets. - Georgina


We are trying to build a butterfly with the coloured paper and we had to get the paper clip to the string and with the magnet we had to see if it would fly. - Jess

Agricultural Day!

Well here we are...agricultural day!

We have had a busy day, the children have had a wonderful time eating lollies, creating bouquets and face pikelets and Mr. Potato head.

The rain has stayed away and it is now shining down on the best school around.
Take a peek at our achievements...

We had to make a pattern - Ashton.
We needed a saucer - Dominic
We used a small amount of flowers - Emma
We needed a big flower in the middle - Alec






And our mosaic stones...

We chose from 5 colours - Sarah
We had to make sure that the bits fit - Chiara



We had to be careful putting the pieces of tile on - Callum
It was exciting making them at first - Navah
It was complicated - Rachel

It was a very hard process because we had to put a certain amount of ink on to make it look good - Eden
We had to cut out pieces of paper to make the print - Gabrielle

Winter at Koputaroa!

WOW!! What a treat! Snow at Koputaroa School. The children have had fun all day - no need for any sports gear today...
